Gruene Estate
Nestled in the heart of the hill country, Gruene Estate is the ideal setting to say "I do", host a rehearsal dinner, celebrate an anniversary or corporate event. This outdoor haven has been created to offer a picturesque wedding venue that will create lasting memories. Gruene Estate is the original homestead of Ernst and Antoinette Gruene, spread across fifteen acres in New Braunfels, Texas. It is situated between Austin and San Antonio, making it an ideal location for those wanting an elegant country wedding. The property consists of several structures, such as the 1857 home of the Gruenes, an antique chapel with European stained glass windows, chandeliers and a bell tower, as well as an open-air pavilion. Rentals are available for daily or overnight guests, with up to twelve people being able to stay at the estate and two hundred attending events. With its stunning scenery and convenient location, Gruene Estate is the perfect place for a wedding to remember.
Broken Rock Ranch
Broken Rock Ranch offers a perfect setting for your country wedding. Located just a short distance away from the main complex and reception area, the quaint chapel accommodates up to 150 guests with 22 benches. Not only can you plan your wedding ceremony and reception here but also host rehearsal dinners, accommodate overnight lodging for your guests, and more. The ranch is open to churches, men and women's organizations, students, family reunions and celebrations, parties, corporate meetings and presentations, business meetings and seminars. Sleeping accommodations are provided in the bunk house and dormitory buildings with 4 to 18 bunks per room, and 20 bunks per dorm. There is also a bath house with showers and toilets. City water is used for drinking, cooking and washing, while well water is used for irrigation.
