Schlitz Audubon Nature Center is a 185 acre nature preserve located 10 miles north of Milwaukee in Wisconsin, featuring a Gold LEED certified Educational Center and 6 miles of trails for activities such as hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, along with a 60-foot observation tower overlooking Lake Michigan. Our mission is to create meaningful connections between people and nature, while inspiring them to become responsible stewards of the environment. In addition, Schlitz Audubon Nature Center offers a variety of educational programs and activities for all ages, from toddlers to seniors. We host weddings, corporate events and other gatherings, summer camps, school field trips, birthday parties, scouting programs, raptor shows, a nature preschool and volunteer opportunities.

Lake Katherine Nature Center & Botanic Gardens

Lake Katherine Nature Center & Botanic Gardens is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization located in Palos Heights, IL. The Gardens At Heather Farm

The Gardens at Heather Farm is a public garden, education center and special event venue located in Walnut Creek, California. With six acres of diverse landscapes, it offers a beautiful and inspiring atmosphere for the community to enjoy. The property is open daily from sunrise to sunset unless closed for a private event. Photography sessions or other group use requires prior reservations and payment of permit fees. The Garden features a Rose Garden, Children's Garden, Sensory Garden, and a Community Garden, providing a tranquil and natural environment for visitors to explore. The education program provides enriching natural and environmental science classes to over 27,000 local school children in Contra Costa County. Sprout by Design is a two-woman boutique design firm based in New York City. They offer two unique services: product design for inventors and entrepreneurial spirits, as well as design of garden and greenhouse based learning programs. For product design, their team can turn a napkin sketch into a product that people will love to buy. They create 3D SolidWorks models, renderings, patent drawings and functional prototypes to show investors, manufacturers and customers. Their designs range from IVF pumps and rowing technologies to iPhone cases and lamps – three of which are patented. Additionally, one of their designs was a finalist for the INDEX: Design Award. The firm also designs garden and greenhouse based learning programs for schools. These educational programs use nature as a fun and hands-on way to teach students the principles of the New York State Learning Standards and Core Curriculum. The holistic approach to health and education also covers proper etiquette which begins with lessons in the garden and extends far beyond it. Three of their classes were even invited to the White House to garden with the Obamas.

Bit of Hope Ranch

Bit of Hope Ranch is a non-profit organization that provides equine assisted therapies for counseling and therapeutic riding to all age groups, as well as educational programs such as riding lessons, field trips, low ropes/leadership programs, corporate groups, youth groups, scouts, etc. The Ranch also has a horse/farm animal petting area, natural playground, jump pillow, trails, covered arenas, bonfire pits/grills, trails and climate controlled restrooms, making it an ideal place for parties and weddings.
