Joy Erickson has been a part of White Bear Lake neighborhoods for most of her life. After graduating from Mahtomedi, she continued her studies in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Writing at Concordia College in Moorhead. Joy then pursued her passion for education by working as an elementary school teacher and later in District Management for Sylvan Learning Centers for 9 years. During that time, she became well-versed in the Twin Cities roadways, neighborhoods and school districts as well as in sales and teaching techniques. She also had experience in researching markets for expansion and managing marketing and advertising for 17 franchises.

This combination of skills and connections with many different people made Joy realize that real estate was the right career path for her. In 2005, she changed her career accordingly. As a White Bear Lake Real Estate Agent, Joy has been able to utilize her compassion and education to become successful. She uses her formal education skills to make a thriving business.
