The association provides a convenient location for events, meeting spaces, and a commercial kitchen. The ballroom boasts a hardwood floor with a raised stage and dry bar. Cheverly American Legion Post 108
The Cheverly American Legion Post 108 is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting veterans, their families and engaging in community programs. This post has a bar available to members and their guests, hosts special events and also rents out their spacious venue hall for public events. At the Cheverly American Legion Post 108, they provide a range of services and experiences that cater to the veteran community. They offer a bar and private events, as well as a venue hall for public events. They strive to create a supportive and welcoming environment where veterans and their families can come together, relax and enjoy good company.

Benita Cooper established Benita Cooper Design (BCD) in 2008. The full-service firm, based in Philadelphia, PA, and Haddonfield, NJ, offers a wide range of architectural and interior design services as well as construction management. Benita is a Registered Architect in both PA and NJ and has achieved LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Design Professional status. She earned an MArch from Harvard University and a BA in Architecture and BA in Art from University of Washington. Benita's career began in 1995 and her work has been distinguished by awards from the American Institute of Architects and American Architectural Foundation. It has also been featured in several publications including Harvard Design Magazine, Architectural Record, Society of American Registered Architects Magazine, Philadelphia Magazine, Foobooz and Eater. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Benita has taught college level studios and professional practice courses at University of Washington and University of Pennsylvania. She has also served as a design critic at Rhode Island School of Design, Boston Architectural College and Philadelphia University. Benita also hosts workshops and events for the youth of Philadelphia and Haddonfield to engage the community and inspire the next generation of designers and builders. Partners of this program include the Haddonfield Public Library.
