William Turner Gallery represents some of the most exciting emerging, mid-career and established artists in Los Angeles, and a selection of artists from around the world. Established in Venice, CA in 1991, the gallery has developed a reputation for innovative and historically significant exhibitions.
The Getty featured four of the gallery's exhibitions during Pacific Standard Time: Fred Eversley, A Retrospective, The Gleam in the Young Bastard's Eye, Karl Benjamin/Alex Couwenberg, and Ed's Party, which showcased 40 artists (including Ed Moses, Larry Bell, Tony Berlant, Frank Gehry, Billy Al Bengston, Charles Arnoldi, Peter Alexander, Jimmy Hayward, etc.) and the cross-generational influences and relationships between them.
Other recent highlights include: Ed Moses / Larry Poons, a dual exhibition for these iconic painters, two solo exhibitions for Carole Bayer Sager and an upcoming Ed Moses retrospective.
