Fortunately, my mother intervened and made me enlist in the Navy when I was seventeen. This allowed me to experience the world from a young age, which has had a huge impact on my artwork. I am particularly inspired by tattoo art, the 70's and 80's, nature, Japan, and other cultures. Art is an integral part of me; it is a form of expression and I feel like I am following my destiny when I am creating. Currently, I live in La Mesa, California and run Original Ink Art, a business that specializes in pen and ink pointillism. On The Edge Gallery is an Arizona artists' cooperative, the first of its kind in Scottsdale.
