Queen Bee's
Queen Bee's Art & Cultural Center is an incredible place in North Park that is devoted to supporting local artists, dancers, performers, and all members of the San Diego Community! Every week there are a number of different events. On Sunday nights, there are Bachata and Salsa lessons and dances from 7:30 PM till midnight. Monday night is Soulercize - Soul Line Dance Class. Tuesday night is Lyrical Exchange - Weekly Open Mic Night from 8:00 till 11:00. Wednesday night is East Coast Swing Dance Lessons and Dance 7:30 till Midnight. Finally, on Thursdays, there is Elevated Poetry Open Mic (on the first and third Thursdays). Queen Bee's is also available for private parties and corporate events. Museum of Contemporary Art
The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego (MCASD) in Core-Columbia is proud to present Downtown at Sundown. This after-hours event takes place on the third Thursday of every month from 5 to 8 PM and features free admission and guided tours of exhibitions at MCASD Downtown and SDSU Downtown Gallery. Visitors can enjoy a night of culture, craft beer from Stone Brewing Company, and delicious meals and beverages from The Flight Path Wine Bar & Bistro. The Downtown at Sundown series is organized by MCASD in collaboration with local partners SDSU Downtown Gallery, Stone Brewing Company, Downtown San Diego Partnership, and The Flight Path Wine Bar & Bistro. Together, they are committed to offering a unique and vibrant experience for visitors to explore the downtown neighborhood of Core-Columbia.
