Studio225BK is a full-service photo/video studio and event space located in the upcoming waterfront arts district of Brooklyn. It has been custom-built to suit a variety of needs, featuring a raw roof space, a 750 sq ft custom-designed roof deck, and a 1000 sq ft interior space, complete with a hair, make-up, and wardrobe room. The interior is outfitted with unique and classic furniture and has white walls, distressed brick walls, high ceilings, and a 16 foot by 7 foot south-facing window that provides natural light. The studio offers rental packages for photo shoots, video shoots, fittings, rehearsals, castings, and more. Lighting packages, computers, iPads, G&E needs, SFX gear, backdrops, floordrops, and seamless are all available to rent. Rates vary depending on the type of shoot or event. Photo shoots are $500/day (8 hours), $250/half day (4 hours), and additional hours are $60/hour. Video shoots are $600/day (8 hours), $300/half day (4 hours), and additional hours are $70/hour. Events/functions are $500/half day (4 hours) and additional hours are $100/hour. The studio is also available for classes, workshops, business, networking and performance events. Rates for these types of rentals are determined on a case by case basis. All rentals include use of the studio and its amenities.
