The Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington (MCAArlington) is a non-profit organization that strives to promote and foster appreciation for the visual arts in Arlington County, VA and its surrounding regions. Through exhibitions, educational programs and subsidized studio spaces, MCAArlington serves as a platform for regional artists to showcase their work and allows the public to engage with them. The organization works to increase awareness of and involvement in the visual arts through its programs and initiatives. MCAArlington provides various services and experiences to benefit both artists and the public. Museum of Contemporary Art

The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego (MCASD) in Core-Columbia is proud to present Downtown at Sundown. This after-hours event takes place on the third Thursday of every month from 5 to 8 PM and features free admission and guided tours of exhibitions at MCASD Downtown and SDSU Downtown Gallery. Visitors can enjoy a night of culture, craft beer from Stone Brewing Company, and delicious meals and beverages from The Flight Path Wine Bar & Bistro. The Downtown at Sundown series is organized by MCASD in collaboration with local partners SDSU Downtown Gallery, Stone Brewing Company, Downtown San Diego Partnership, and The Flight Path Wine Bar & Bistro. Together, they are committed to offering a unique and vibrant experience for visitors to explore the downtown neighborhood of Core-Columbia.

The Broad

The Broad is a new contemporary art museum founded by philanthropists Eli and Edythe Broad on Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles. The museum is designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro and offers free general admission. The museum is home to the 2,000 works of art in the Broad collection, which is among the most prominent holdings of postwar and contemporary art worldwide. With its innovative "veil-and-vault" concept, the 120,000-square-foot, $140-million building features two floors of gallery space to showcase The Broad's comprehensive collection and is the headquarters of The Broad Art Foundation's worldwide lending library. -- General admission to The Broad is free. Advance online reservations are available at the museum website and are highly encouraged in this busy period after the museum's opening. For visitors who want to ensure a specific date and time for their visit, and avoid wait times during busy periods, The Broad provides advance reservation of timed tickets online at no charge. Tickets have entry times beginning every half hour. Please note that advance online tickets often book up two to three months in advance. Advance tickets are not required. An onsite ticketing line is available at the museum every day except Mondays, when the museum is closed. Admission for the onsite ticketing line is first come, first served, based on availability. The wait time in the onsite ticketing line is 30 to 45 minutes on an average weekday, and 60 to 90 minutes on an average weekend. On holiday weekends, wait time in the onsite ticketing line can be up to two or three hours. The onsite ticketing line closes 90 minutes before the museum closes.

Seattle Art Museum

The Seattle Art Museum (SAM) offers a unique experience with its 35 international galleries, featuring more than 2,600 objects. The museum has something to offer everyone, ranging from the Australian Aboriginal Gallery, which is the only one of its kind in the US, to the Modern and Contemporary Galleries, home to an impressive Korean coat made of 40,000 dog tags. Phoenix Art Museum

Phoenix Art Museum has provided access to visual arts and educational programs in Arizona for 60 years and is the largest art museum in the Southwestern United States. Each year, more than 300,000 guests engage with critically acclaimed national and international exhibitions and the Museum's collection of more than 20,000 works of American and Western American, Asian, European, Latin American, modern and contemporary art, and fashion design. Founded in 1984 in San Francisco by a psychologist and an artist in response to the nationwide de-institutionalization of disabled people in the United States, Creativity Explored is a nonprofit serving the neurodiverse community with the ethos that creative expression and art is a human right. The studio and gallery have welcomed hundreds of developmentally disabled artists and facilitated their careers in the contemporary art world locally in the Bay Area and internationally. Visitors enjoy stopping in often to see the changing exhibitions, to meet and visit with the artists and staff, and to shop for incredible and affordable original art. Utterly original and so very human, the artwork made by Creativity Explored artists will expand your definition of what makes an artwork beautiful.
