The property consists of several structures, such as the 1857 home of the Gruenes, an antique chapel with European stained glass windows, chandeliers and a bell tower, as well as an open-air pavilion. Rentals are available for daily or overnight guests, with up to twelve people being able to stay at the estate and two hundred attending events. Milltown Historic District is a scenic event venue in New Braunfels, situated along the Guaradule/Comal river. It provides three wedding/event centers that host various occasions such as weddings, corporate meetings, parties and family reunions. These include the Event Center on the River, a picturesque setting with a rustic charm and natural elegance; The Grande, an impressive New Orleans-style ballroom with a grand staircase, chandeliers and a French Quarter courtyard; and The Gallery, a renovated general store oozing with Texas character. These are ideal for those who are unable to access traditional wedding venues due to various circumstances or tight schedules.
