Eleanor Harwood Gallery

The Eleanor Harwood Gallery opened September 2006. The programming of the gallery focuses on emerging to mid-career artists exhibiting nationally and internationally. The roster includes artists that are represented in major collections. The gallery actively promotes and encourages career growth for represented artists. Eleanor Harwood curated the Adobe Books backroom gallery from the end of 2002-2006. She is also a painter and has worked on various curatorial projects in the Bay Area. Primarily exhibiting painting, drawing and sculpture, the gallery specializes in work with complex craft and concept. The gallery's aesthetic often includes meticulous work not so much for its order but for its integrity of purpose.

Corridor Contemporary

Based in the artistic district of Philadelphia known as Fishtown, Corridor Contemporary is a gallery specializing in modern and contemporary art. With a focus on painting, photography and mixed media, the gallery displays works by renowned artists from around the world such as KAWS, Robert Indiana, Russell Young, Mr. Brainwash, Lucien Freud, Alex Katz, Yigal Ozeri, Shepard Fairey, Vik Muniz, and more. Stutz Artists Association

The Stutz Artists Association is a non-profit organization of artists dedicated to supporting the arts in Indianapolis. Located at the historic Stutz Business and Arts Center, it is a 400,000 square-foot former car factory that now houses over 70 artist studios, small businesses, and vintage and collectible cars. The Raymond James Stutz Art Gallery on the first floor showcases new exhibitions each month, and visitors can purchase artwork from the Stutz Art Mart. Creativity Explored

Founded in 1984 in San Francisco by a psychologist and an artist in response to the nationwide de-institutionalization of disabled people in the United States, Creativity Explored is a nonprofit serving the neurodiverse community with the ethos that creative expression and art is a human right. The studio and gallery have welcomed hundreds of developmentally disabled artists and facilitated their careers in the contemporary art world locally in the Bay Area and internationally. Visitors enjoy stopping in often to see the changing exhibitions, to meet and visit with the artists and staff, and to shop for incredible and affordable original art. Utterly original and so very human, the artwork made by Creativity Explored artists will expand your definition of what makes an artwork beautiful. Explore portfolios of over 130 practicing disabled artists offering up their drawings, paintings, collages, ceramics, embroidery, fashions, prints, and multimedia creations – all for sale or pure enjoyment. The gallery is home to rotating exhibitions curated by the teaching artists and staff, well-known artists and art professionals, and of course, the Creativity Explored artists themselves. San Francisco Women Artists

San Francisco Women Artists (SFWA), founded in 1887, is an historic nonprofit arts organization that continues to support, promote, and exhibit  and sell the works of talented Bay Area women artists.   Our Inner sunset gallery hosts monthly, juried shows, showcasing paintings, photography, ceramics, sculpture, and jewelry created by member artists. SFWA collaborates with other nonprofits, offers classes, student internships and hosts community events.   Event space is available for rental.  New membership applications are invited.

SOMArts

Founded in 1979, SOMArts leverages the power of art as a tool for social change through multi-disciplinary events and exhibitions. SOMArts annually produces 10 visual art exhibitions featuring approximately 200 emerging and experimental Bay Area artists in our Main Gallery. Since 2010, the SOMArts Curatorial Residency has supported over 20 multidisciplinary exhibitions curated by over 50 Bay Area artists. Our Día de los Muertos exhibition, founded by Chicano visionary René Yañez and curated by his son Rio Yañez, annually features 60+ artists uplifting diverse cultural and spiritual traditions associated with mourning. Through our year-long calendar of creative programs, SOMArts reaches over 25,000 Bay Area residents every year, providing multiple opportunities to experience the arts through free or low-cost events at a time when small and mid-sized cultural venues are rapidly disappearing in the Bay Area.

SLATE Art LLC is a boutique creative firm. Dolby Chadwick Gallery

Established by Lisa Dolby Chadwick in San Francisco in 1997, Dolby Chadwick Gallery represents an international roster of emerging and mid-career artists working in traditional and hybrid media, including oil painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, and photography. The Gallery seeks to exhibit articulate, visceral, and provocative new work, and to support its artists in the development of their creative processes and visions. San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery

Located in the heart of San Francisco's Civic Center, the San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery makes contemporary art accessible to broad audiences through curated exhibitions that both reflect our regional diversity and position Bay Area visual art production within an international contemporary art landscape. By commissioning new works, collaborating with arts and community organizations and supporting artist's projects, the SFAC Gallery's programs provide new and challenging opportunities for contemporary art to engage with a civic dialogue. The SFAC Gallery was founded in 1970 and is the exhibitions program of the San Francisco Arts Commission, the arts agency of the City and County of San Francisco.
