Operating in Brooklyn, NY, the studio is owned and run by photographer and director Peter Martinez who provides personal production services, equipment rental and a 1000 sq ft space for photo shoots and film productions. The studio is equipped with a custom-made white cyc (infinity wall), large windows with south-facing light, a center room skylight with black-out shutters, a hair and make-up station, wardrobe rack with clothes steamer and a private bathroom with shower. It can be quickly transformed from a daylit studio to a full blackout. Urban Myth Studio also supplies lighting equipment such as daylight-balanced strobes, continuous lights (par and kino) and a range of modifiers, along with a Canon 5D Mark II and lenses.
