Long View Gallery is located in the Shaw neighborhood of Washington, D.C., across from the Washington Convention Center. We are dedicated to promoting the local art scene by showcasing regional and local artists. To further this mission, we host regular events that bring artists into the community. Our monthly exhibitions feature a variety of established and up-and-coming talent. For those looking for more permanent pieces, Long View Gallery has a growing collection of artwork. Our new venue, which has 10,000 sq ft and 20 ft ceilings, can accommodate up to 800 people for private functions and corporate events. The space features modern lighting and is suitable for caterers, DJs, and other services. It also has access to Blagden Alley, which adds to its unique urban vibe. We have provided our space to Lexus who held a Lexus Listening Lounge event series here. Long View Gallery offers design consultations, delivery, and master framing services. With its flexible capacity, blank canvas appeal, and competitive prices, it is the perfect place to host any type of event or gathering.
River Farm
River Farm, located close to Washington D.C., is an exquisite destination for a special event such as a wedding, birthday, anniversary, meeting, retirement dinner, or memorial service. The manor-style house and gardens on the sprawling 25 acres of landscaped grounds offer endless possibilities for creative planning. Children and leashed dogs are welcome at River Farm, which also houses a Children's Garden made up of themed sections designed to pique children's interest in horticulture. To learn more about gardening, kids can attend the workshops hosted here. Additionally, the Spring Garden Market is a two-day festival held annually with plants, garden art and accessories, as well as a flower show in the Estate House. River Farm is open from 9-5 on weekdays year-round, and from 9-1 on Saturdays from April through September.
