Creativity Explored

Founded in 1984 in San Francisco by a psychologist and an artist in response to the nationwide de-institutionalization of disabled people in the United States, Creativity Explored is a nonprofit serving the neurodiverse community with the ethos that creative expression and art is a human right. The studio and gallery have welcomed hundreds of developmentally disabled artists and facilitated their careers in the contemporary art world locally in the Bay Area and internationally.
