Birmingham Botanical Gardens

Birmingham Botanical Gardens is the largest living museum in Alabama, boasting 12,000 plants across 67.5 acres of land. It features 25+ gardens, over 30 sculptures and miles of paths, a horticulture library, conservatories, wildflower garden, rose gardens, Southern Living garden and Japanese Gardens with a tea house. Education programs are available throughout the year and 10,000 school children attend free field trips each year. This free attraction welcomes 350,000 visitors annually and is open from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year. Guests can explore and enjoy the gardens' many offerings, including a variety of interactive programs, such as guided walking tours, gardening classes, and special events. Birmingham Botanical Gardens also provides educational services for adults and children, featuring speakers, workshops, classes, and more.
