- The American Museum of Ceramic Arts (AMOCA) was founded in 2003 by Dave Armstrong. In 2011, the museum purchased an old bank building and at that time established the AMOCA Ceramics Studio. Since our inception, we have grown from a small studio with a few classes to a large studio which offers private and semi-private studio spaces for artists in residence and studio artists, as well as firing services.
