Solar Radiation Management (SRM) geoengineering is gaining attention as a potential intervention to address climate change. This paper argues that the success of SRM depends not only on technological feasibility but also on human factors like fear and trust. It analyzes the social challenges and governance dilemmas facing SRM, emphasizing the importance of building an effective and equitable governance framework. The paper calls for strengthened international cooperation, public participation, and information transparency to address the challenges posed by climate change and ensure responsible consideration of SRM.
