Phoenix Art Museum

Phoenix Art Museum has provided access to visual arts and educational programs in Arizona for 60 years and is the largest art museum in the Southwestern United States. Each year, more than 300,000 guests engage with critically acclaimed national and international exhibitions and the Museum's collection of more than 20,000 works of American and Western American, Asian, European, Latin American, modern and contemporary art, and fashion design. The Museum also presents vibrant photography exhibitions made possible through the Museum's landmark partnership with the Center for Creative Photography, University of Arizona. The Museum is open Wednesday-Sunday and open to the public with voluntary-donation admission during the First Friday of every month from 3-7 pm and every Wednesday from 3-7 pm. Palette Restaurant is open. The Lemon Research Library is closed at this time.

Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum

Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum is a stunning Italian Renaissance-style villa located on the shore of Lake Michigan. Designed by renowned architect David Adler in 1923, the museum was originally the home of Lloyd Smith and his family and displays fine and decorative art from the 15th through 18th centuries, wrought-iron masterpieces by Cyril Colnik, and a formal garden. Additionally, the museum regularly features changing exhibitions from local, regional, and international artists. In addition to an annual calendar of exhibitions, Phoenix Art Museum’s permanent collection galleries are drawn from more than 19,000 works of American, Asian, European, Latin American, Western American, modern and contemporary art, and fashion design. Visitors also enjoy photography exhibitions through the Museum’s landmark partnership with the Center for Creative Photography, University of Arizona. The Museum presents a variety of public programs year-round, including tours, lectures, films, special events, and more designed to enlighten, entertain and stimulate visitors of all ages. Voluntary-donation times occur every Wednesday from 3 to 7 pm and the first Friday of every month from 3 to 7 pm.
