The Cedar Cultural Center
The Cedar Cultural Center, referred to as The Cedar, is a non-profit performing arts organization and all-ages music venue that presents local, national, and global music. Its mission is to promote intercultural understanding through music and dance performances. The Cedar is located in the diverse Cedar Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and has become well-known for its variety of musical genres, such as roots, folk, indie, experimental, bluegrass, Americana, blues, and more. The Cedar is dedicated to upholding artistic excellence and integrity, diversity of programming, helping emerging artists, and engaging with the community. It is the only venue of its kind in the Midwest, and hosts around 200 events each year, such as live music concerts, educational programs, workshops, films, dances, comedy, spoken word, and more. Established in 1989, The Cedar operates in a building that was constructed as a movie theater in 1948. Furthermore, it has programs like the Cedar Commissions, a local artist commissioning series; the Global Roots Festival, an annual free world music festival; and Midnimo, a program that presents Somali artists in month-long residencies all over Minnesota.

Pinecrest Gardens
South Florida's Pinecrest Gardens is a cultural arts park and botanical garden that covers 14 acres of stunning natural beauty. It offers a variety of entertainment for children, including a petting zoo, splash and play area, and playground. During the high season, between October and April, the park hosts a Family Friday every month featuring an animated movie and flashlight tours through the gardens. There is also a monthly Cult Night Film event with adult refreshments, free parking, and a peaceful outdoor atmosphere. The park also boasts an art gallery with a new show every month and a six-month performing arts festival called Arts in the Gardens. During this festival, theater, music, and dance performances are held every weekend and two resident orchestras, three resident dance companies, and three resident theater companies are featured. Additionally, there is a seven-performance jazz series and free concerts of jazz and chamber music.

The Memphis Brooks Museum of Art is a distinguished fine arts museum in Tennessee. It houses an impressive collection of artwork through the ages, and provides a variety of public programs for visitors to learn about the visual arts. Located in Overton Park, the facility has twenty-nine galleries, two classrooms, a print study room, a library, and an audiovisual auditorium. The Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center is a unique 52,000 square foot facility dedicated to providing cultural activities and experiences for the entire family. Located in the historic Walter Reed School, the center was restored and opened to the public in October 2008. It features the Ella Fitzgerald Theater, Youth Programming floor, Anderson Johnson Gallery, Newport News Community Gallery, banquet room, multipurpose room, and Executive boardroom. The Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center provides a variety of free and paid events each month, such as concerts, plays, dance performances, movies, children's programming and instruction. The center also offers rentable space for functions, meetings, private parties, and weddings. Past performances have included orchestral ensembles, local and national recording artists, stage plays, and dance companies.
