Gore Place
Gore Place is a historic house and museum that has been named a National Historic Landmark. Visitors can take guided tours of the property Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, and on Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Each tour is approximately 45 minutes long. Gore Place is the Federal period estate of the former Massachusetts Governor Christopher Gore. This mansion is renowned for its beautiful furnishings, earning it the title of "The Monticello of the North" among architectural historians.
