It has been a landmark of the community since 1859, when it was built for Dr. Francis Neely Luckey, who served as a surgeon during the Civil War. After being passed down through the Brown family, the property was bought by the Blacks in 1998, who restored it to its current condition and opened it to the public in 2004.The Villa Franca offers an unforgettable experience for all its guests. Legacy Oak is an events and wedding venue located in north Chandler, Oklahoma. This scenic setting offers large oak trees, a private lake, a cottage, a long drive lined with cedars, and a 5000 square foot event barn. Our services include hosting weddings, receptions, parties, and other events, all of which can be held either outdoors or inside the event barn. The barn includes a 4000 square foot indoor space with restrooms, kitchen, and a dressing room, as well as a 1000 square foot covered patio to admire the view down to the lake.
