Located just outside of downtown Houston, Station 3 is an exclusive event venue. We specialize in hosting weddings, corporate events, private parties, holiday celebrations, training programs, catered dinners, filming, and photography. We are a well known city landmark, being Houston's original 1903 Historic Fire Station 3! Our venue rental packages are tailored to meet your specific event needs, with prices varying according to the day of the week and hours you rent. Our facility provides each client with exclusive use of the entire building and grounds, giving you a truly special and memorable private event. We also provide a full staff of 5-star rated professionals who can assist with any issues or concerns you may have. Additionally, Houston Police officers are provided for every event. We offer an array of amenities such as an automated loading and unloading zone for vendors, four commercial restrooms (including one handicap accessible restroom with a baby changing station), wheel chair and freight lift access to the second floor, an outdoor courtyard area, a small bridal suite with comfortable seating, full length mirror, wet bar, and various other necessities, and a private catering area with refrigeration, sink, and prepping area. The Daniel H. Caswell House is an elegant Victorian mansion located close to the state capitol, 6th Street and the University of Texas. It is the ideal venue for weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, holiday and anniversary parties, fundraisers and business meetings. The house is owned and managed by Austin Jr. Forum, a women's volunteer service organization. It provides a spectacular setting for small to medium-sized weddings and events at a reasonable price. Brides are free to bring caterers of their own choice, regardless of whether they are on our recommended vendor list or not. We welcome visitors to tour our beautiful Victorian home during business hours. It is situated at the corner of West Avenue and 15th Street, with on-site parking. The Caswell House is featured in the National Register of Historic Places and recognized as a TX Historic Landmark. All profits from the rental of the Caswell House are reinvested in the Austin community through grants.

Waltham Gore Place

Gore Place

Gore Place is a historic house and museum that has been named a National Historic Landmark. Visitors can take guided tours of the property Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, and on Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Each tour is approximately 45 minutes long. Gore Place is the Federal period estate of the former Massachusetts Governor Christopher Gore. This mansion is renowned for its beautiful furnishings, earning it the title of "The Monticello of the North" among architectural historians. The mission of the Gore Place Society is to promote and preserve the 1806 estate of Christopher and Rebecca Gore as an educational resource to demonstrate early 19th century American life. The estate still has a small farm with sheep, goats, poultry, and a Farm Stand which sells vegetables produced with organic practices. Any extra produce is donated to local food pantries and shelters. Gore Place has multiple programs throughout the year, including rental opportunities.
