The Maritime
In 2013, Wisznia | Architecture + Development transformed the originally named Hennan Building, later known as the Latter & Blum Building, into 105 luxurious downtown New Orleans residences, as well as a Merchant Cafe and BETA Workspace. Located within walking distance of the French Quarter, the Central Business District, the Warehouse District, New Orleans City Hall, New Orleans Public Library, the Mercedes Benz Superdome, LSU and Tulane Medical Centers, Poydras and Canal Streets, Louis Armstrong Park, the Lafitte Greenway, I-10 and 610, The Maritime provides an array of amenities to its residents. These include a 24-hour doorman, on-site management, ground-floor cafe, BETA shared workspace, free high-speed internet and water, sliding bamboo walls for optional privacy, walk-in closets, washer and dryer, granite counter-tops, dimmable track lighting, stainless steel appliances, bamboo flooring, window coverings, ceiling fans, available furnished units, fitness center and free-weights, rooftop pool, steam room, outdoor kitchen, entertainment/meeting area, film-screening room, pick up dry-cleaning service, indoor bike parking and complementary bike share, cold storage for grocery delivery and a building-wide water purification system. Milltown Historic District is a scenic event venue in New Braunfels, situated along the Guaradule/Comal river.
