Lake Katherine Nature Center & Botanic Gardens is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization located in Palos Heights, IL. Managed by the organization, the park offers 6 miles of trails and educational displays with live animal exhibits. It also hosts special events and educational programs for children throughout the year. The park is great for families and offers a variety of experiences for all ages. NatureBridge Conference and Retreat Center
NatureBridge Conference and Retreat Center is a unique facility located near San Francisco in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. We provide affordable, green conference options to a variety of organizations such as businesses, non-profits, churches, youth retreats, government, and academic institutions. The fees generated from these conferences funds our scholarship program for under-served students to attend our residential environmental education program. At NatureBridge Conference and Retreat Center we strive to be a sustainable and eco-friendly conference center. We compost all kitchen waste, use non-toxic materials for cleaning and painting, and try to use as much local, organic food as possible. We also have recently carpeted all of our conference rooms with material made from recycled plastic bottles.
Schlitz Audubon Nature Center
Schlitz Audubon Nature Center is a 185 acre nature preserve located 10 miles north of Milwaukee in Wisconsin, featuring a Gold LEED certified Educational Center and 6 miles of trails for activities such as hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, along with a 60-foot observation tower overlooking Lake Michigan. Our mission is to create meaningful connections between people and nature, while inspiring them to become responsible stewards of the environment. In addition, Schlitz Audubon Nature Center offers a variety of educational programs and activities for all ages, from toddlers to seniors.
